Who We Are

VSX Security is an IBM i security software company founded by veterans of the enterprise security industry with deep experience in IBM i exit point frameworks, cryptographic services, and security event management.

We are building a suite of security products that protect IBM i environments the way they should be protected — natively, transparently, and without compromising the performance characteristics that make IBM i the right platform for mission-critical workloads.

Our Approach

Most IBM i security products read from database tables at decision time. Every exit point call, every row access, every authentication event triggers I/O. We do not work that way.

Our exit point framework enforces security policy at machine speed with no I/O on the critical path. Our field encryption adds no measurable overhead to DB2 operations. Our key management is IBM i native with hardware coprocessor support where available.

Security that costs nothing to run is security that stays on.

The Platform

IBM i is the most reliable, most secure general-purpose computing platform in the enterprise. It deserves security tooling built to the same standard. VSX Security products run entirely on IBM i — no off-box dependencies, no agents on other platforms, no data leaving the system.
